  4. Amman Dead Sea Ultra Marathon
    For those who want to test their endurance, there is an annual marathon iin Amman which is held every month of April. There are three events: the 21km marathon, the 42-km marathon, and the ultra 52-km marathon. Runners start to race in an elevated part of Amman and will then descent to the southern desert. This is not just a test of endurance but also survival from the grueling heat of the sun.
  5. Distant Heat
    For those who love to dance and party, every July is the celebration of Distant Heat. This is an annual dance festival which is held in two venues specifically in the dessert and the Red Sea. This 2-day party features international DJs and foreign groups. For tourists who want to be a part of this thrilling event, they can hire tents for overnight.
